From jazz to 10-year anniversary

Kongsberg has been a Pindena customer for over 10 years, and Bente Jakobsen has used the system since the company first started with it.
“The system was first and foremost introduced for KBG-jazzen in 2013. I’ve helped organise the jazz event every summer,” says Bente.

“In addition, I’ve co-organised leadership courses and smaller internal events in Kongsberg, as well as smaller events in Kongsberg Maritime and Kongsberg Teknologipark.”

Great value with up-to-date participant lists

Bente usually imports a list of names and email addresses into the system and then sends invitations by email. Even though it’s only for colleagues, having a reliable tool in a large company is extremely useful. An up-to-date participant list with specific information is very valuable. At the same time, it’s easy for users to follow GDPR guidelines thanks to the features built into the system.

“I’ve found it really useful for both larger and smaller events. It’s helpful to know the number of participants, share information about the event, and collect details about hotels, transport, and allergies,” says Bente.

Simple communication has been essential

With an updated participant list, it’s easy to share information. It’s simple to send messages to a specific group of participants and schedule when messages should be sent.
“The option to send emails and SMS messages to participants is definitely what I’ve used the most, both before and after events,” says Bente.

She has also used check-in with QR codes several times. This gives a good overview of who is present at the event, but it can also be useful afterwards.
“We’ve been using the Pindena app with QR codes for a few years now, and it’s really handy and straightforward,” says Bente.

Better courses with evaluations

Evaluations are smart to use for courses to find out whether the course and its content meet participants’ expectations. Bente finds it easy to use evaluations through the registration system.

“When I was running the leadership development courses, we created evaluation surveys that were sent out via Pindena to the participants. These were set up at the same time we sent out the course invitations – so once the course was completed, the evaluation was automatically sent at the chosen time,” Bente smiles.

A long relationship with Pindena

Bente has a long relationship with Pindena and has used the system since the very beginning.

“From day one, we’ve received all the adjustments we needed when we started using Pindena. That was everything from SMS notifications to QR codes, and so on. Whenever I’ve sent questions or needed help, I always get a quick response and the problem gets solved. If there was a problem, it was usually just my lack of knowledge,” Bente laughs.

“For the kind of use I know, I have absolutely no problem recommending the system to others,” Bente concludes with a smile.
