Heidi Martens-Lea

Heidi is the customer manager at Pindena, where she oversees support, customer contracts, and conducts training sessions.
Heidi is a trusted cornerstone for all our customers, handling training and user support, as well as overseeing much of our administrative and security work.
Heidi has been with Pindena since September 2016 and has worked in almost every role over the years. She joined us straight from university, holding two bachelor’s degrees—one in Tourism and Management, and another in Digital Business Development. Her combination of academic background, hands-on experience at Pindena, and personal qualities make her a tremendous asset in our tech company. As an efficient project manager with a penchant for structure and checklists, she keeps us on track.
On a daily basis, Heidi is our first line of support: she handles most incoming emails and administrative tasks. Since the customer always comes first, she’s vigilant about any incoming inquiries.
Heidi also serves as our product owner, actively working to improve the registration system by creating new tickets for bugs, feature requests, or customer suggestions. When development is commissioned from our partner CoreTrek, Heidi acts as project manager—drafting requirements, soliciting quotes, placing orders, and conducting tests. She is also responsible for updating our help pages, ensuring new articles are published whenever we launch updates. Additionally, Heidi maintains our chatbot “Kåre Ki” (developed by CoreTrek), updating its knowledge base whenever we notice inaccuracies in its responses.
Heidi regularly leads training sessions and webinars for customers—and without a doubt, she knows our users and their workflows better than anyone.
As Pindena’s information security officer, she also manages external audits of our internal controls for information security, along with many other related tasks in that field.
I find it extremely rewarding to help customers with various challenges and show them how to use the system most effectively. When they have a “wow” moment discovering something they hadn’t considered or known about, it’s great to know I’m helping a company save resources by thinking creatively and doing things a bit differently than before.
